OVS is pleased to announce the fifth installment in our TRANSITION FORWARD Webinar Series, hosted by our leadership consultants from the OVS Training and Technical Assistance Request Program (TTARP), J.A. Strategies and Krieger Solutions: Coaching to High Performance on Thursday, July 16th at 1:00 pm Supervisors fulfill many roles for the people they supervise – they plan, they manage and they act as a guide and leader. Supervisors and managers who add coach to the list, and use a coaching approach in supervision, have the opportunity to motivate each staff person individually while still holding them accountable. Coaching is an effective method for reinforcing and transferring learning and can be instrumental in improving the performance of the entire team. This 45-minute webinar will address:
The differences between coaching and a more traditional approach to supervision and management
How to use coaching as a supervisory style to improve overall performance
Where and when coaching is most appropriate
A plan for using these strategies on the job
We understand that your programs are under unique forms of stress during this time, and OVS is here to help during this difficult time and beyond.
